Today I went on one of the coolest rides I've ever done. Here are some pics in the order of how the ride unfolded. First riding on some fantastic double and singletrack through the countryside. Crossing through beautiful towns on the way to zunil. In zunil we visited San Simon, a very famous saint that has roots in Mayan and catholic tradition. When visiting him, the tradition is to make donations of cigarettes an alcohol among other things. After San Simon we rode over to some hot spring/ geysers. Here we met a local farmer who carried at least 300 lbs of wood up a steep technical trail probably about 500 ft elevation gain.
